I want to turn off the temperature on the air conditioning so that it is dark in my bedroom.
On the original remote control I have a button called display that allows me to do that. How does that work here?

You want to turn off remote control display, so it don't emit any light?
R3 Remote control LCD display turn off after some second if unused.
