Certainly.

Magnetic sensors must be mounted on window. When the 2 magnetic bars are moved away (i.e. the window is opened) they send a signal to the receiver installed in the air conditioner, which cuts off the power supply to the split itself, until the windows are closed again.

When the window is closed, the magnetic bars send a signal to the receiver to confirm that they are closed, and this supplies power to the split again, which is then free to return to normal operation.

The magnetic bars have a tolerance of approximately 1.5 cm, so they can be mounted on any type of fixture, even very old ones.
