How does it check if someone is in the room, and how is it activated?

The system monitors and observes the room to see if there are guests present using its PIR optical sensor (Passive Infrared Sensor); when no presence is detected, and after a pre-established period of time has passed (choosing between 15, 30 or 60 minutes), it sends a shutdown signal to the air conditioning split.
